Custom Framed Homes

With a conventional framed home, you have many different style options. The exterior of a conventional framed home can be finished with stucco, rock, or siding such as cedar, cement, log or board and batten wood siding.

You can accent your home with log or timber elements such as trusses, columns or posts to create an inviting exterior entryway or add them to the roof support system to create a stunning great room.

Structural Insulated Panels (SIP's)

What are SIP's?

SIP's are a high performance and green building system that consist of insulated foam sandwiched between two sheets of oriented strand board (OSB). This creates an extremely energy efficient insulated panel that is 2-1/2 times stronger than a stick-frame wall. The Enercept SIP system combines framing, insulation, and sheathing into one step.  Enercept SIPs are custom made to fit your plans and with this system you will experience a quieter, healthier home and a lifetime of energy savings.

Benefits of SIP's:

  • Extremely energy efficient

  • Lower labor cost and contruction time

  • Fewer air leaks

  • Better indoor air quality

  • Less onsite waste

  • Stronger and quieter

  • And more

Additional information can be found on Enercept's website. Please visit our Gallery to see pictures of some of our featured SIP homes in the Pagosa Springs area.
