ABOUT US

  A lifelong resident of Pagosa Springs, James Watkins started his career in the family home business, Wolf Creek Industries. Wolf Creek Industries harvested standing dead timber from Wolf Creek Pass to mill one of the first D-Logs available, shipping hundreds of house log packages across the nation. In 1998, James started Silver Creek Custom Homes, LLC and became a full-time general contractor and builder. 

 

Since the early days of the sawmill to the present time, James’ experience includes manufacturing logs and lumber, building log and traditional framed homes to newer innovations of constructing green homes with structural insulated panels (SIP’s). James brings a hands-on approach to oversee each step of the building process and through the years he has built relationships with exceptional professionals to ensure quality built homes.
